Our suppliers are important stakeholders for the implementation of Strukton’s purchasing policy and the achievement of the objectives relating to Corporate Social Responsibility.
Supply chain responsibility
Strukton expects its suppliers to have a demonstrable, operational policy concerning (the improvement of) environmental, social and economic aspects. For that reason, Strukton would eventually like to do business exclusively with suppliers that feel jointly responsible for the interpretation and implementation of Strukton’s CSR goals.
Cooperation
This means that Strukton makes conscious choices and considerations regarding:
- The safe, environmentally friendly and sustainable design of the creation, implementation or operational process by the client, Strukton and its suppliers together.
- The selection of suppliers in a transparent manner.
- The formation or non-formation of cooperation/partnerships between clients, Strukton and suppliers.
Goal
The goal of sustainable purchasing is to reduce the negative effects on the environment and on society relating to the production and use of goods Strukton purchases and services Strukton contracts out.
Sustainability statement
Strukton Inkoop will ask its important suppliers to complete a Sustainability Statement, which establishes a number of generic obligations relating to Corporate Social Responsibility.
