First threefold ISO 9001 certification in the Dutch water sector
The first organisation in the Dutch water sector with threefold ISO 9001 certification – for building activities, operational activities and project management. That distinction goes to Delfluent, an international consortium in which Strukton cooperates with Veolia Water, Evides Waterbedrijf, Rabobank and Heijmans Infrastructuur. Contracted by the Delft higher water board, Delfluent built the new Harnaschpolder wastewater purification plant (one of the largest in Europe) and renovated the existing wastewater purification infrastructure in the region of The Hague. His Royal Highness Crown Prince Willem Alexander, officially commissioned the new wastewater purification plant on 28 March 2007. This public private partnership is unique in the Dutch water management environment.
